Community occupational therapy clinic * occupational therapists address functional concerns related to daily activities as a result of disability, injury, illness, or chronic health conditions * support includes:- increase independence and safety with self-care tasks (showering, dressing, grooming)
- improving sleep quality
- being safe at home and preventing falls
- managing finances (banking, paying bills)
- returning to or managing work
- shopping, meal prep, laundry, and cleaning
- driving or using public transit
- becoming more active
- managing stress, anger, anxiety, pain, or fatigue
Progression level of rehabilitative care for patients working to restore or maximize functionality
