Visits to families with children 13-17 who have a history or interest in playing with fire * families are connected with a trained member of the Hamilton Fire Department * provides families with education, guidance and practical tools to help children understand fire safety and the serious risks associated with fire and fireplay * aims to reduce future incidents, promote safe decision-making and support positive behaviours at home and in the community
